The Twins and A Good Big Brother

It's quick to see them grow and I am a Yiyi again. It's good to hear them calling me and telling me how happy they are when they recieve gifts that I sent over.

I also come to realise Elliott is a big boy now as to compare to his brothers.

Kuala Lumpur

I have been to KL many times, but it never strike my mind about taking pictures and putting up in the blog. Until recently, my friend enquire quite alot about the hotel and what I do. Usually, I go to KL to relax and we enjoy staying in Berjaya Times Square because they have everything under one roof. From restuarants to bowling to shopping to beauty..........blah, blah, blah.

The pool is fantastic too.................so we decided to try out our camera that we had bought for quite some time but no courage to try in water even though it claims that it is water proof. Hooray!!!! It works well and the camera is still in good condition.

And of course how can I miss the shopping and food...............

we tried street food..

Yum.........Yum.........

Then we went in search of Jalan Alor..............there are so many stalls and you need to have a very calm mind to decide what you want. The stall vendors just keep calling out and telling you what they have. But always ask about the price before putting in your order.

the bustling night of Jalan Bukit Bintang

Before we depart from KL, we saw Dr. Fish...............the very popular fishes nowadays which can eat up dead skin from our body but since it's alot cheaper in KL, we decided to give a try. My first try is a waste of money because it's too ticklish for me. However, after seeing the result, the second go is more encouraging.

Stir Fry

I have an expat friend asking me about stir fry. She mentioned that it's good to see so many kinds of greens in the supermart and she wanted to try doing stir fry.

Basically, before starting a stir fry. You need a wok. It can be single handle or double. It can be non stick, stainless steel or whatever so that you can find in the market nowadays.

Then you prepare the greens, making sure that the greens are almost drip dry. You do not want extra liquid from washing the greens. The greens itself will produce liquid when you cook them. But if you are stir frying root veges(eg: carrot), stems(eg: celery) or leaves(eg: cabbage), they do not produce much liquid or no liquid at all.

Now you make sure the wok is hot, pour in small amount of oil and some chopped garlic. Then put in the greens and stir them quickly till they are soften, Add salt and pepper to taste and is ready to serve.

Anyone can do stir fry. It is the easiest way to get food cook quickly. But of course, cleaning up the kitchen is the biggest headache........
